Cannot Change Districts
For some reason, I can't change districts in a town or outpost. I have to bring up the map and select a district like that. Hell, the menu doesn't even drop down. I wouldn't mind normally but it's a pain for PvP stuff like Alliance Battles as I can't get to where my friends are. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Had the same problem. If you use Xfire, that's the issue. Uninstall it, or close it when you play GW. As soon as it's closed things will be as normal.

Xfire does not always cause it. Whatever the problem with it was, it appears to be fixed. Couldn't change districts the other day, although it's fine now.

No, it's not xfire - unless it was a problem with a particular build that they rapidly fixed (xfire self-updates all the time.)
I've been using xfire with no problems for years - the new video capture is FTW. I have, however, had that can't change district bug. Very odd - just happened a couple of times, then went away. I'm thinking maybe it was ANet shutting down hackers or exploiters or something.

If I log into GW with Xfire running I can't change districts. If i load Xfire after I log on, I can change districts. Pretty sure its Xfire.

Bizarre - you've made me want to test it when I get home now, Covah.
If it is, I shall give xfire some feedback up their ass.
Hmm, wonder if there are any ANet CRMs with previous links to XFire...

It all started when Regina Buenaobra started working for Anet. And she used to work for Xfire. Coinicidence?

Hehe.
I did notice that, while messing around with the video capture, there are little info bars for FPS and opacity and whatnot. Maybe they accidentally reserved that area of the screen for them even when they're not displayed?
Have you tried moving your interface around so the district bar is in a different place? If it works elsewhere, then maybe my guess is not farr off the truth.

Just got the new Xfire update. I could change districts don't know if they fixed something or Snograt may have been right.
